LANDO1'S BRIEF BIO In 1997, Orlando Bermudez (DJ Lando 1) launched his mobile DJ profession working at small events in San Francisco. In 1999, spinning Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae, Dancehall, and Old School records by using Technic 1200 turntables, Ortofon Nightclub needles, and Sony 700 earphones, Lando 1 exploded on the nightclub scene. He’s played at the premiere nightclubs in the Bay Area and abroad as well as the largest cultural festivals in San Francisco. DJ Lando 1’s urban style and fascinating record selection has given him a large following. In addition to his career, he is a San Francisco State University Graduate who obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Arts in June 2004 and currently operating Orro Media, a Screen Printing and Multimedia Company. Lando 1’s intellect, experienced spinning ability, and popularity has rendered him relationships with the Illtrendz Record Pool, The Mission Economic Cultural Association, and The Western Region Puerto Rican Council. He feels his future will include record production, graphic design, and traveling to other parts of the country to boost his ability.
